Our After School Club

Our after school club is based in Stranmillis beside the Lagan meadows.

We aim to provide a safe, secure, stimulating and child centred environment, at an affordable cost to parents.

We encourage children to plan activities and resources around their play needs. Typically, the activities that we have on offer will include arts and crafts, messy play, chill out zone, construction, role play, dress up, board games, cookery and outdoor play.

Children will also be supported to complete homework as required.

We have a large sports hall, warm and bright classroom and large outdoor play areas.

Our after school club operates term time Monday Friday 2.00pm - 6.00pm.

Parents can choose to send children for 2hours, 3 hours or 4hours.

Monthly fees are payable 39 weeks of the year and made in 10 equal payments from September to June.

We collect children from Stranmillis and St Brides Primary Schools.

Holiday Clubs

During school holidays we operate holiday clubs. Parents can choose to book their children in for full or half days. Fees for holiday clubs are additional to the after school club.

Includes healthy snacks, trips and any special activities.

Monthly Billing Calculation:
Daily Rate x No of Days x 39 / 10 = Monthly Bill 
Eg: £29 x 3 days x 39 weeks / 10 = £339.30 per month 

Fee Information and discounts:
20% discount for full-time places 

Family discount of 5% for families with 2 children in our Nursery, and 10% for 3 children, including After School Club

  • The children are exceptionally well cared for especially in the after school club. It is a laid back fun filled afternoon. Good staff child interactions.

  • I have full confidence and huge respect for each staff member they are kind, considerate and give their daily best and create a family atmosphere. Our youngest is now P6 and I will be so sad to finish after schools as the staff have been brilliant and so supportive.

  • The YMCA provide very good after school care. My son always says "pick me up very late", so that he can have more fun.

FAQs

  • We are open 2.00pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday.

    During settling in and early closures we will endeavour to collect children earlier.

  • Some parents choose as little as one session a week - others choose five days. We will try to accommodate your families needs.
